Concurrent streaming capacity is limited by the first exhausted resource, not bandwidth alone. Edge egress, origin miss traffic, transcoder slots, bitrate, overhead, and failover reserve form separate ceilings.

Three ceilings Edge, origin, and transcoders are tested independently.
Failover reserve The same entered reserve derates each modeled resource.
Audience equivalence Origin bandwidth is divided by per-viewer miss traffic.

The default system has 25 Gbps edge, 4 Gbps origin, 5,200 transcoder slots, 12% origin share, and 20% failover reserve.

Worked substitution with the default inputs

1. Set stream wire rate b_w=4.5*1.08=4.86 Mbps Bandwidth capacity uses the delivered wire rate.
