Calculation method

How the calculation works

Multiply each energy quantity by its unit rate, add fixed charges, and annualize the monthly estimate. Multiply monthly electricity kWh by electricity price per kWh, multiply monthly gas therms by gas price per therm, add fixed monthly charges, and multiply the total monthly estimate by 12 for a simple annualized cost.
