Why are there only N minus one transfers?
The first set begins after entry, and each later set requires one movement from the preceding stage, producing one fewer inter-set transfer than sets.
Does positive slack mean every artist fits?
No. Aggregate duration can fit while fixed set times overlap; compare the result with the published running order.
Should entry queue time be part of arrival buffer?
Yes. Include security, ticket scanning, orientation, lockers, and movement to the first stage.
Can transfer time be zero?
Only when consecutive performances use the same place and no meaningful reset or movement is required.
Why protect an exit buffer?
It preserves time for final movement, crowd release, shuttle or parking access, and a chosen departure deadline.
How often should I update the schedule?
Rerun whenever the timetable, site map, weather, transport, stage priorities, or mobility needs change.

- The model does not resolve artist overlaps, fixed start times, or stage-specific curfews.
- Actual queues, walking speeds, weather, and crowd controls can exceed averages.
- Accessibility routes and health breaks require individual planning.
- Set times can change after the calculation.
Evidence record: keep the dated timetable, site map, transport schedule, route estimates, and saved ledger. Do not remove safety or recovery time merely to make the arithmetic fit.
