Conversions and rounding: Convert share percent to a decimal and offsets through local = UTC + offset modulo 24. Distance is zero inside the preferred interval and circular distance to the nearer boundary outside.

    The schedule first allocates monthly meetings between two UTC slots. Each person’s burden is the sum of off-window distance multiplied by slot use; the gap is only the absolute difference between those totals.

    Low gap and low totals

    Both the distribution and the actual local starts are favorable under the declared windows. Confirm the calendar and duration before adopting the rotation.

    Low gap and high totals

    The schedule is equally inconvenient rather than healthy. Equal burden is not enough when both slots lie well outside protected local windows.

    High gap

    One person accumulates more modeled off-window distance. The label identifies the current schedule effect and should trigger redesign, not an obligation to endure an offsetting hardship.

    Can the schedule cross midnight?

    Does the heavier-burden label decide who should change?
