Soccer Performance Calculator

Normalize soccer production per 90 minutes and compare finishing, creation, progression, defensive work, and ball security on one live pitch profile.

Match contribution profile

Normalize technical and physical output to the minutes played

The page separates finishing, distribution, duels, and running load instead of collapsing unlike actions into one invented score.

Each spoke uses a disclosed reference scale only to make unlike dimensions visually comparable.

Detailed calculation process

Rate statistics preserve denominators; per-90 statistics preserve exposure

General formulas

GI90 = (G + A) × 90 / M Shot accuracy = SOT / S × 100 Pass completion = Pc / Pa × 100 Duel win rate = Dw / D × 100 Distance90 = d × 90 / M High-intensity share = h / (1000d) × 100

Practical examples

Compare like with like

  • Compare a 60-minute substitute appearance with a 90-minute start using per-90 event rates.
  • Separate a high pass-completion role from a direct shooting role.
  • Track high-intensity distance as a share of total distance across the same device and threshold definition.

Measurement guidance

Protect the denominators

  • Shots on target cannot exceed shots; completed passes cannot exceed attempts.
  • Use the provider’s definition for duels and high-intensity running consistently.
  • Do not compare GPS distance from different hardware or speed thresholds without calibration.

Limitations

Per-90 rates stabilize exposure but not role, opponent, score state, position, tactical instructions, or event quality. A goal and an assist are counted equally in goal involvement. The radar reference scales are presentation anchors—not league percentiles, scouting grades, or medical thresholds.

Soccer performance FAQ

Does a high pass percentage mean the player progressed the ball?

No. Completion rate does not describe pass distance, direction, pressure, or expected threat.

Why use per 90 minutes?

It makes event frequency comparable across different playing times, while still requiring adequate sample size.

Can this replace video analysis?

No. It summarizes entered events and workload; video supplies position, decision, and tactical context.
