How the calculation works

Scale a representative plot harvest to kilograms per hectare, multiply by field area, and reduce the result by an entered loss allowance. Divide sample mass by plot area, multiply by 10,000 m² per hectare, multiply by field hectares for gross harvest, and reduce by one minus the entered loss rate.
