A final-exam target is a weighted-course-point problem. This calculator separates work already graded, other remaining work, and the final exam before solving the required exam score.

The default case converts all grade components into course points.

Worked substitution with the default inputs

1. Convert to points P_g=68×84/100=57.12P_o=7×88/100=6.16 Each score contributes only through its weight.
2. Find target points W=68+25+7=100P_t=100×87/100=87 The target uses the entered total weight.
3. Solve exam score s_e=100×(87-57.12-6.16)/25=94.88% The remaining 23.72 course points must come from the 25% final.

Adding earned, expected other, and required exam course points must reproduce the target course points.
