    • Average task hours may conceal a dominant or highly uncertain activity.
    • It does not model working-day calendars, holidays, weather, or supplier probability.
    • Readiness arithmetic cannot determine consent or relationship timing.

    Questions about proposal scheduling

    Why does the model use the maximum supplier lead?

    It assumes ring, site, and photography preparation can run at the same time. Add dependent leads in a separate schedule when that is false.

    Can weekends be excluded?

    Not directly. Convert working availability into weekly hours and use supplier leads already expressed in elapsed calendar days.

    Should shopping research count as a task?

    Yes when it consumes planned preparation capacity and has a defined done condition.

    What if the internal and external paths are equal?

    Both are controlling. A delay in either path threatens the buffer, so monitor both.

    Can the buffer cover delivery uncertainty?

    It can absorb some delay, but it is not a guarantee. Preserve tracking, refund, insurance, and fallback plans.

    Does the minimum duration tell me the best proposal date?

    No. It only describes preparation capacity. Personal preference, relationship readiness, and date significance remain separate.
