This model generates equally spaced slots from a first-visit week, subtracts separately counted blocked and recovery-only windows, and compares the remainder with the target. It does not select dates or merge overlapping calendars automatically.

    1. Set a fixed horizon and identify the earliest realistic candidate week.
    2. Choose cadence from travel lead time, work calendars, and desired spacing.
    3. Map firm conflicts onto the generated cadence slots.
    4. Count separate recovery-only slots after removing any overlap with blocked ones.
    5. Compare feasible visits with the target and reserve the resulting calendar days.

    Why separate recovery-only windows?

    They represent deliberate capacity protection rather than external unavailability.

    Can target gap be negative?

    Yes. A negative result shows how many target visits exceed the entered feasible capacity.

    Does this synchronize calendars?

    No. Convert real calendar conflicts into reviewed counts before using the page.
