Result interpretation

Review every purchase family, not only the bundle total

The primary output is a logistics total across shingle-family bundles; do not treat it as one interchangeable product. Whole-package rounding creates overage. Nail count is a planning quantity and must be converted to cartons by actual carton count.

Visual interpretation

The diagram splits after roof geometry because different materials use different units. Only field waste enlarges the field branch. Package silhouettes show rounding but not warehouse availability or transport weight.

Why not add waste to underlayment?

This page expects net roll coverage; project-specific membrane waste must be reflected in that yield or a separate allowance.

Why are nails rounded to one nail?
