How the calculator reaches the result

Projected average = (current average × completed count + projected score) ÷ (completed count + 1).

Each entered score is treated as one equally weighted future quiz. The calculator compares the paths but does not assign probabilities or claim that any scenario will occur.

    Are scenarios probabilities?

    No. They are explicit what-if inputs and should be labelled optimistic, expected, or conservative outside the arithmetic.

    Why do I enter completed quiz count?

    The same future score moves a six-quiz average less than a two-quiz average.

    What if future quizzes have different points?

    Use a weighted-score calculator or enter a points-based model; equal quiz units would misstate the denominator.

    Can I enter a score above 100%?

    Only if the governing policy explicitly permits bonus scores; otherwise keep the range within the scale maximum.

    What does a narrow range mean?

    The current base is large enough that one quiz has limited leverage, not that the forecast is certain.

    How should I export this?

    Name each scenario and retain the gradebook policy that defines the current average.
